Interview: TramstonValley

Band Members:

TramstonValley is a Japanese rock 3-piece formed in Tokyo in 2018. The band’s sound is somewhat reminiscent of 90’s-2000’s Post-grunge and Rock with a tinge of Blues. TramstonValley has thus far released several singles and an EP for their ‘Sons of Anarchy session’ and most recently released new single ‘Be Somebody’. Their frontman Haruki spoke to us recently about the band in a short but sweet interview.

What got you into making music?

I liked listening to music a long time ago, So when I started guitar I already wanted to make music naturally.

Who inspired you to make music?

Nobody. Just followed my mind.

What is your creative process?

Looking back on my life, and into nature and watching movies.

Is there anyone you would like to collaborate with?

Warren Haynes. I respect him as a singer, guitarist and songwriter.

What does your band name mean?

The band name doesn’t really have a meaning. About Tramston, I had some things in my pocket. About Valley, I was listening to John Mayer’s album Paradise Valley at that time.

What is your favourite song to perform?

Sons of Anarchy. That song is a masterpiece for now.

What are you working on right now?

Currently, I’m writing some new songs and I’ve been mixing some old songs.
